I love the Lyme Village because it gives us a chance to pass down our history and culture to the next generation. It is a wonderful place to walk around and step back in time. Lynn

Lot of walking but it's like stepping back in time

We go back often and enjoy the historical events.

Had a great time at Pioneer Days! Much of it was Civil War reenactors, but there were some Revolutionary War tents, and local cabins from the 1800's that were moved on site. The mansion is luxurious and surprisingly modern for something from 1892. Quite a few vendors of replica crafts, but the free play with period toys (stilts, hoops, ropes, rings and pegs) were a hit with the kids, as was the old hand-crank farm equipment that really shucked and ground field corn.

Great tours. Lots of historical artifacts. Good people who take pride in what they do.
